This painting is about how we are never truly alone!  There is always an underlying unseen spiritual battle going on in our hearts and we need to be prepared to fight to protect ourselves at all times, putting on the full armor of God as it says in Ephesians 6:10-13 to the left.  I painted this during one of many times where I naively thought “oh everything is going great, my life is on the right track, God is good” so I let down my guard and BAM! Something has attacked in the meantime, like Satan getting a hook in my heart!  Just remember don’t get too comfy because we are never alone and the stronger we are in God the more the enemy will fight!
